Your treatment, whether initial or follow-up, may include a mix of any of the following: needling, gua sha, moxibustion, tui na, cupping, ear seeds, or electrical stimulation. For more information on these, see the FAQ page linked above and below. What I include in your treatment will be specific to you based on your needs. Nothing will be performed without your consent. However, I do not provide "at request" or "a la carte" acupuncture care. There are very specific reasons to choose one modality over another; I want to make sure you are getting the treatment best suited to your needs.
Please inquire about a military (active duty or veteran) discount. As a USAF veteran myself, I know the toll the military can take on one's body and mind, but I also understand the vital role our military serves. I have a great deal of respect for this community and seek to support it.
Also inquire about a student discount. I've always joked that I have made learning my career, and in truth is it not true of most of us? If you are an active student I want to support your needs as well. Don't hesitate to ask!
This is for anyone who is new to acupuncture or to Pierce Acupuncture. Initial treatments are 90 minutes. We spend at least 30 minutes getting to know each other, learning your specific health history, and what brought you in. I'll answer any questions you have and we'll formulate a personal treatment plan together.
Please see the FAQ section for what to expect at your first appointment.
These appointments are 1 hr where we will either continue on an agreed treatment plan course, or embark upon a new adventure together. Each follow-up, I will check in on progress made and adjust as needed. Please make sure to update me on your progress between treatments.
Coming this fall!
Health is internal and external. Treating internal disease translates externally, but the reverse is also true! These treatments aim to help you feel your best on the outside. My cosmetic treatments focus on the face, neck, abdomen, or a combo of your preference. It's not just about beauty, facial acupuncture can target skin issues, such as rosacea, as well.
